Lately I’ve been into Japan­ese tokusatsu series and I’ve been search­ing over them from inter­net. Kind of rare and hard to find espe­cially if you want a dvd with orig. lan­guage and eng­lish sub­ti­tles. It’s great though that there are Span­ish dubbed clips on youtube for the sake of true Kyny­Nasty experience.

It would be great to see some of these series for exam­ple on Sub-TV. It could fit the chan­nels pro­file and of course peo­ple would watch these when they’ve hang­over on sat­ur­day mornings.

This week I rec­om­mend awe­some Japan­ese non­sense humor anime series titled Gyagu Manga Biy­ori (Gag manga biy­ori). The first sea­son is avail­able entirely at YouTube.

I have selected cou­ple of my per­sonal favorite episodes here. Sec­ond sea­son has been made also but only three episodes have been fan­subbed so far. I haven’t read the manga though. Pre­pare your­self for ran­dom and absurd experience.

Some of the gags go way beyond under­stand­ing mostly because you need to know Japan­ese cul­ture (okay there are some trans­la­tors notes but you won’t have time to read them).

The direc­tor of the series (Aki­taro Daichi) is famous for direct­ing sim­i­lar kind of shows like Sexy Com­mando Gaiden: Sug­oiyo! Masaru-san (which is also avail­able at YouTube). Appre­ci­ated.

One of the hottest acts this year imo. They are doing the same thing Daft Punk has done over the years and they’re doing it well. New Jack is one of my fav. tracks at the moment and love the orig. Broth­ers John­son song too. Tene­bre is also one of my favourite giallo movies of all­time by Dario Argento. The movie fea­tures some awe­some music by Gob­lin which is a band formed by Clau­dio Simon­etti, one of the god­fa­thers to Italo-Disco. Nuff said.

Yes. Finnish ghet­totech act Cock­nutz is com­ing to town this fri­day. The night includes sup­port from dj Pataässä and local all-star dj Wax­tas­tic plus visu­als by Supe­ria United & Ålari. So it’s a night full of bass. Supported.
