Somebody’s Watching Me

September 10th, 2008

KynyNasty Favorites #3

Obvious hit from the 80’s. Rockwell dominated US charts for five straight weeks in 1984 with his song “Somebody’s Watching Me”.  And not the least because of the guest vocals provided by Michael and Jermaine Jackson. The chorus has been sampled and used many times (BeatFreakz) and I’ve always thought that it’s a sample taken from Michael Jackson’s song. That is, until recently.

It’s been posted countless times over “the blogosphere” but one more time can’t really hurt? SAMI, this one is for you!
Backed up with No Limit Records version.

(Not so) Weekly Mozzarella #4

Sunday is the perfect day to listen some seriously cheesy italodisco.

Andromeda,
Andromeda,
we’re calling Andromeda

Is is the sound of Juhan af Grann composing music?

The band enjoyed brief success in the latter days of italodisco (1987-). As we can see from the video, the band seeked attention by dressing up and it well manages to brighten the show. Guaranteed KynyNasty Mozzarella Seal.

Zombie Zombie: Driving This Road Until Death Sets You Free

September 5th, 2008

As a big fan of John Carpenter’s earlier works, this unofficial “The Thing” –tribute got me thrilled. The best thing i’ve seen in a while. Zombie-Zombie was also a new case for me and i already like it.
