Armand Van Helden is one of my favorite House-producers, no doubt and 2 Future 4 U is one of my fav. house-albums (alongside Daft Punk’s Homework).

Entra Mi Casa was not released as a commercial single (surely 12″ exists) but it became succesfull at the clubs nonetheless. Maybe they thought that the suggestive english/spanish lyrics. It has a nice latin-house touch in it which drives the girls crazy on the dancefloor. The alluring female voice is provided by unknown chick Mita. No recordings for her exists besides this.

Even more good edit stuff. Amplified Orchestra has a lot of releases, most of them are pretty good actually. Especially b-side of ‘Moon Voyage’ which is a re-edit of Steve Harvey’s song ‘Something Special’. The original works well on its own but the edit manages to boost the overall composition of drums and bass. Though I doubt they had the original master tapes since the vocal part devolves just a bit with the emphasis on the thumping elements.

Steve Harvey is actually the drummer of Medium Medium. Band which is often compared to coeval Gang of Four. Medium Medium is without a doubt one of the many influences to bands of 2000s post-punk revival movement.
