Armand Van Helden is one of my favorite House-producers, no doubt and 2 Future 4 U is one of my fav. house-albums (along­side Daft Punk’s Homework).

Entra Mi Casa was not released as a com­mer­cial sin­gle (surely 12″ exists) but it became suc­ces­full at the clubs nonethe­less. Maybe they thought that the sug­ges­tive english/spanish lyrics. It has a nice latin-house touch in it which dri­ves the girls crazy on the dance­floor. The allur­ing female voice is pro­vided by unknown chick Mita. No record­ings for her exists besides this.

Even more good edit stuff. Ampli­fied Orches­tra has a lot of releases, most of them are pretty good actu­ally. Espe­cially b-side of ‘Moon Voy­age’ which is a re-edit of Steve Harvey’s song ‘Some­thing Spe­cial’. The orig­i­nal works well on its own but the edit man­ages to boost the over­all com­po­si­tion of drums and bass. Though I doubt they had the orig­i­nal mas­ter tapes since the vocal part devolves just a bit with the empha­sis on the thump­ing elements.

Steve Har­vey is actu­ally the drum­mer of Medium Medium. Band which is often com­pared to coeval Gang of Four. Medium Medium is with­out a doubt one of the many influ­ences to bands of 2000s post-punk revival movement.
