Ninja Tune vs Warp

Time to make a good use of our extensive catalogue of Ninja Tune / Warp records. I’m going to play some beats a la Fly Lo, Harmonic 313, Prefuse 73 together with some bleep techno and warp classics. So stirring!

Lesser known production by legendary Francesco Bontempi!
The vocals are an integral part of the song! Unlike some people seem to think. Ah ja mitkä sankaristabit!
Lee Marrow – Cannibals (Baa-Boù – Baa Boù) (5:55) (320) (13,5 mb)

Aargh! Last year we said goodbye to CBS and now Clone announced that it will be closing doors! Fortunately Clone Classic Cuts will continue operating.

Yeah, more about Giorgio Moroder.
Part 2 exactly. Check out part 1 here.
First I want to present this funky and everlasting disco track called “Get on the funk train” by Munich Machine to you all. It was made by Moroder and Pete Bellotte, who formed the band during the seventies (at some point, Gary Unwin was a member also).
Then something else. A promo video clip…
“…taken from a Casablanca Records promo tape.”
The quote is taken from YouTube.
By the way, what the hell is his name? The presenter on this video… Jackass? Jack Ash? Whatever, even NASA can’t match that!
The next one is called “Machines”.
A classic sci-fi hit movie “Metropolis” was reissued 1984 in colour and also gifted with a brand new soundtrack! It included two tracks by Moroder called “Machines” and “The legend of Baabel” among all the other great tracks by such artists as Freddie Mercury and Bonnie Tyler. Check it out, and the movie also!
The last one is legendary “Tears” also by Moroder himself. I’m sorry about the quality.
Remember also to visit his MySpace to check out some more info and tunes.
