We are a group of music lovers and eccen­tric both back­wards and for­ward think­ing disc jock­eys who like to have good times. We’ve had our suc­cess­ful monthly Kyny­Nasty club night at Kaup­pay­htiö in Rovaniemi since 2007. Just to make the city more lively, and most impor­tantly to make oth­er­wise unheard sounds to be heard and rec­og­nized. Nowa­days we have reg­u­lar Good’n’Nasty-clubs at Mbar and Om’pu with occa­sional appear­ances at places like Sil­ta­nen, Por­voonkadun Baari and of course Kaup­pay­htiö (real OG’s there — and actu­ally it’s once-a-month thing here also).

Music varies depend­ing on the theme and the mood of the night but is most likely going to rock down, and then take it higher just when the night gets darker. Most often our record bags are filled with cheeky and bonafide tunes; the type of selec­tion that makes you feel enter­tained and gives some suprises to trainspot­ters. Our aim is to play fresh and deep, synthetic-driven music. We take dee­jay­ing seri­ously — but not too highbrowed.
