Minne-A-Polis! This cut is from Mazarati’s self-titled first album. The band was formed by Brown Mark who was an ex-bassist of Prince and The Rev­o­lu­tion. Pure dance­floor heat here in the spirit of Prince and other mighty Min­neapo­lis funk roy­als such as Mor­ris Day and The Time and Van­ity 6. The album con­tains also other strong cuts which of you can check few from Myspace.

Update: OH YES! Pos­si­ble reunion of Mazarati was planned in 2009 as you can read from TC Daily Planet article/interview. Won­der­ing how things are though.
