Upload­ing — at least to youtube — Prince’s orig­i­nal ver­sion of Erotic City is out of the ques­tion , so here is the George Clinton’s ver­sion edited by Sasso. Per­haps unnec­es­sary edit but nev­er­the­less use­ful. If you ever become tired to Prince’s falsetto you can play out loud this ver­sion as it is faith­ful to the original.

‘Erotic City’ is def­i­nitely in my per­sonal all-time top 10 or some­thing like that.

Was talk­ing about how close Mud­dy­loop is regard­ing to authen­tic 80s style elec­tro­funk. Then I found TOPLESS and it didn’t cross my mind that Vamos a Bailar could be 00s. “Kitkali­itto is a col­lab­o­ra­tive band of 3 friends from Helsinki to flesh out their ideas in music and visual arts.” First release from the guys came out quite recently on Kann Records: the Swamp EP. Deeper ter­ri­to­ries of house with some hints of techno, and def­i­nitely jazz. Get the dig­i­tal release from Beat­port, What­peo­ple­play or Jun­odown­load. As for the phys­i­cal copies, VINYL/WAX I’m refer­ring to here, it’s a lim­ited press­ing but Juno Records got some as does Hard­wax. And then there’s always Discogs. In Fin­land I’d go to Stu­pido.

Timmo — Finnish UG Deep Vol. 1 [Platinum.ac Deep Techno] (320k, 113MB, 49:42 min)

Here’s the story — finnish inter­netz forum Plat­inum used to be pretty much num­ber one for some elec­tronic music back in the days. Don’t know about now­days. So, this Timmo guy of a dj decided to make a mix out of “deeper techno” demo tunes he had col­lected from Plat­inum forum dur­ing the years 2000–2003. So here you go, all finnish music.

Oh and never mind the last mix between tunes by Akrid and Har­ri­son Fnord, Ser­ato going men­tal prob­a­bly because of dust on the needle.
