Found this 12″ today from local flea mar­ket. It’s a “Mul­ti­col­ored, Mar­bled, Super Sound Sin­gle”. Some nice Aus­tralian synth-pop with a mood and it comes with a gui­tar solo. Imagery in the video is very new romantic-like so nat­u­rally I like.

HUH & HAH! Upright bass. Jimi Hen­drix looks. John Coltrane poster on the wall. Sin­cer­ity of Bernard. The break­down part of the song start­ing at 2:27. Not a sin­gle mis­step in the video — or in the song. Pure aes­thetic pleasure.

Going through a stack of records which I bought last sum­mer but haven’t really played or lis­tened at all. The track Any­way I Gotta Swing It got my atten­tion. It appears on Night­mare On Elm Street 5: Dream War­riors sound­track and is pro­duced by Full Force. Nice, lively new jack swing groove and nat­u­rally the musicvideo uses the same setup as the movie. We need more videos that fea­ture Fred­die Krueger jam­ming!
