Dj New­town — 2005 (909state’s Acid House Remix 1993) (320kb mp3) — this one’s got pretty mas­sive ware­house Roland TB 303/ TB 303 emu­la­tion sound­wall. Slightly dis­torted drums are mixed bit low in vol­ume. Still, rough.

Antoni Maiovvi — Veloc­ity Cen­tral (320kb mp3) — mod­ern italo disco from the man who had a minor hit back in 1984 with “(Rub­ber­sex) Lover”. Maiovvi’s got an album out on Seed Records.

Bros — I Quit (The Acidic Mix) (320k)

Back in late 80s they used to have acid house remixes of boy pop band tunes in Britain. That’s some­thing I didn’t know back then but Bros as a phe­nom­e­non was famil­iar to me because of this Finnish pop­u­lar cul­ture mag­a­zine (not talk­ing about that par­tic­u­lar issue).

New Finnish release! All the music on this record are sam­pled or influ­enced from a Finnish movie “Lentävät Luupäät” (1984). Here is a vid I made a while ago. It com­bines the best moments of the movie. (don’t bother unless you under­stand Finnish.)

The movie includes this infa­mous bassline by Aarno Rani­nen. Big up for releas­ing this!
