<p>The debate circulating around <a href="http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/9821-the-roots-of-dubstep/">the roots of dubstep</a> has been going on for years, guess it would have been so ever since the generic term <a href="http://fu7even.com/kyny/ROOTS.jpg">dubstep</a> came into prominence sometime around 2002. </p>
<p>I won’t be getting into depths with this thing right now but related to topic here’s an interesting track by Leftfield. As <a href="http://www.discogs.com/Leftfield-Release-The-Pressure/release/3178">can</a> be <a href="http://www.discogs.com/Leftfield-Release-The-Pressure/release/1909964">seen</a> this cut is already some 14 years old. Proto-dubstep?</p>
