New Finnish release! All the music on this record are sampled or influenced from a Finnish movie “Lentävät Luupäät” (1984). Here is a vid I made a while ago. It combines the best moments of the movie. (don’t bother unless you understand Finnish.)

Tomorrow all hell breaks loose!
Very special night in these latitudes. Personally I have seen Huoratron once (2004 QStock, Oulu) and it was very energetic, I just had to dance for entire time! He knows how to encourage audience. Game Boy madness! I heard that Huoratron’s debyt full lenght album is coming out this year, finally.
As anxious as I am about witnessing Huoratron again, DJ Scotch Egg is something you just don’t see here often, rocking with game boy also but with Gabba and Glitch flavour on it. Just watch the clip to see what is all about.
Unfortunately O Samuli A has cancelled but there are also our celebrities Desert Planet. Seen it many times but they are always good. I hope they have some new songs though.The whole event is part of AV-Mediaculture (University of Lapland) unit’s 15 year old birthday party. There is also a seminar “Äänen ulottuvuudet” (= Dimensions of sound) tomorrow at the university about videogame music and etc.
